Since our last post on Mom and Dad’s bathroom (remember this?!), Dad has been busy working on both the upstairs and downstairs master bathrooms. We’ll try and get up a post later on about Grandma’s bathroom.
After gutting the bathroom, he tiled the floor, put up new walls, Ariel painted the lower walls (the cream color you see…NOT the pink….that should be leaving us soon), and Dad put up the base boards.
He still has a tons to do, such as quarter-round (we have no idea how you spell it lol), the little topper trim piece thingies on the base boards, chair rail, the decorative panel slats (NOT like 1970’s “paneling”), paint out the pink and the ceiling, and finish building the linen closet. Whew! It makes one tired simply from looking at that list.
Here’s another in progress shot.
Ariel says this is about half way done; Dad would probably laugh at that statement!
Mom and Dad still haven’t decided on a paint color yet.
Maybe they secretly want to keep the Pepto Bismol (Adri had to Google that to find out how to spell it) pink color!
Hopefully, we’ll have even more to post soon!
